As full-timers, we realized that we do not need to see the entire country all at once, so we try to pick places especially enjoyable and spend some time. Winchester Bay RV Resort is one of those places; we just spent 2 months there this summer.

A Summer Friday Night in a Small Town

As we travel across the country in our Motor home (we are full-timers), we find ourselves staying in a variety of locations. We spent Friday evening in a small town, where they have a number of activities during the summer. We are in Winchester Bay, Oregon, which is about 4 miles from Reedsport and both are on the Umpqua River (with a total population of less than 5,000). The small town allows you to enjoy the activities without the overly large crowds in larger venues.
