Patti FaustiniPatti Faustini figures she may be qualified to run the world, since she’s taken over 80 eighth graders to Spain and North Africa on three different trips and survived to tell the tales. She even brought 100% of the kids back safely (she thought a 99% return rate may not have been considered a success). In her first life she taught middle school English, Montana History, and Spanish. She’s still trying to remember how she was convinced she needed to haul hordes of sweaty, hairy, drama stricken adolescents to Spain. She only remembers how very much she loved them all.
Patti carries an RV genetic code transmitted from her RV obsessed father and mother. She grew up in Ohio, hence the rabid support of Ohio State University, where she earned her BS in Education. RV’ers from Michigan, beware. She has been known to share questionable college fight songs. She earned her M.Ed. from Grand Canyon University in Phoenix, at the ripe age of …well…a ripe age. She now tutors college students from the comfort of her laptop, writes, and carefully organizes her husband’s and teen age son’s lives, both of whom are in great need of the above. The threesome just purchased their first RV, as chronicled in Faustini’s Woodall blog, “Saga of an RV Rookie or: How I Stopped Worrying and Finally Picked an RV.” After a successful RV maiden voyage in their driveway, they’re making plans for an equally exotic outing. Patti’s adult children are married, trying to graduate from college, moving to different states, or some combination that changes weekly. All she knows for sure, is that she loves her family, her life, and her new little travel trailer. You may want to scope out “Saga of an RV Rookie” and follow along with Patti as she adjusts to joyriding with her two guys in a 20′ travel trailer. It may be tight. |

Isabelle Lussier Isabelle is a French Canadian from Quebec married to a Franco-Ontarian since 1998. Together they raise and homeschool four kids – one girl and three boys. She loves photography, reviewing books and products, discovering new places while traveling in their RV, making cards and exploring her recent passion; drawing. George Schaefer RV Stories and Camping Topics My name is George Schaefer, aka The Traveler. My wife, Maureen, and I have been married for 45 years. I retired in 1995 after 30 years with AT&T’s International business group as a district manager in their global strategic planning organization. My work took me around the world; especially to Canada, Mexico, all of Europe, and the Asia-Pacific Region. My final duty was as chairman of an 11-nation business services consortium of Asia-Pacific telecommunications companies in cooperation with an oversight committee of Fortune 500 companies. This work took me to most of the countries in the Asia-Pacific Region. My education and training is in engineering, business management, international business, and strategic planning. After retiring from AT&T, I worked briefly as a management consultant – specializing in Diversity Management and Doing Business in the Asia-Pacific Region – and began my own computer consulting business. I retired from both of them in 1998 after an automobile accident left me disabled. My current passions are reading (I’m a book nut, aka as a bibliophile), traveling, RV’ng, spoiling my grandchildren (5 at present from our 4 grown children), and writing (blogging, several autobiographical short stories and a hard-scifi novel; the latter all unpublished, as yet). My latest pursuit is as a blog writer for Woodall’s Publications, where I hope to document and share many of the adventures my family and I have had camping and RV’ng during the past 45 years. |
