RV Campgrounds, Roads & Routes, Menu Planning & Cooking
Having an RV seems to complete me. OK, having my husband Randy does, too, but the idea of the open road and seeing new things all the time is just like getting ice cream with everything on top. Our first travel in an RV was when we sold our little Colorado cabin, our beloved dog of thirteen years, Elsa died and Randy talked me into full time RVing. That was 1995 and we have had one type of rig or another all this time. We have worked for Woodall’s Campground Directory Publications since 1999 and have had so many great travel experiences and funny things happen with this company it will take years to blog about them all. We have a home again in Colorado, but the full time bug seems to keep popping up its head for us and who knows? Randy and I have two incredibly terrific sons and three grandchildren who are better looking than yours. It just needed to be said.UPDATE MAY 2010: now we are full timers again! |

Hoby Follis
Space Saving, RVing with Pets, RVing with Grandkids, Holidays on the Road, Campgrounds, Great RV Routes and more.
I RV full-time (since 2007) with my wife and dog. We enjoy traveling around the country living in the places where we would like to vacation. I also teach classes for an online MBA program. My wife and I both are continuing our education as we travel. I have one daughter and one grandson, and my son-in-law is active-duty Air Force. I am a consultant that focuses on Organizational Development, Team Effectiveness, and Leadership Development; my focus area is on working in the virtual world (with all the new technologies, companies need help working when their employees are scattered across the world). I have worked for Fortune 100 companies, branches of the government, healthcare facilities, and a variety of other organizations. We decided that we should not wait too long before we did the RV thing, so we started our adventure early. So far, so good!

Denise N. Crew
Family Weekend Camping Trips, Preparation & Readiness, Menu Planning & Cooking, Destination Camping & RV Resorts
Denise’s camping family consists of Hubby, twin 17 year old boys, C & R, Little Man who’s almost 6 and Baby Girl who’s almost 3. We live here in South Eastern PA (land of the potholes). She started camping when she was very young, 6 weeks to be exact. Her parents took all 7 of their kids camping for a week every summer. It may have looked like the circus had rolled into town when they all piled into their bright green with yellow trim tent, but they loved it.After Hubby and Denise had been married a few years and the twins were about 2, they bought an Amerigo truck camper. They later graduated to a Sunline with 3 bunks. Next, it was a 32’ bunkhouse Prowler. Today, Denise and her family try to get out about 30 nights a year, starting Mother’s Day weekend and finishing up with a Halloween weekend. Denise’s favorite trip is the week they take at Knoebels with family and friends. She hopes you enjoy reading about their sometimes crazy, but always fun loving family and their adventures. |

Dana Ticknor
RV Home School, State & National Parks, Historic Places, Landmarks, Nature & Wildlife
Dana is blessed to be able to full-time R.V. with her husband and their 11 children, who range in age from 20 to 4 months. Having enjoyed avid weekend camping for years, they sold their home in Montana and hit the road Oct. 1, 2009 with no other agenda than to see the states and learn about our country’s heritage. Roadschooling and living full-time in their 40′ toy hauler presents some unique challenges, but also makes for some exceptional, one-of-a-kind experiences! Dana enjoys keeping a blog of their journey at Ticknortribe.blogspot.com.
