Good Sam Added New Parks

Seems like it’s a year of change for Good Sam – with their new ratings, a new campground engine, and now the fact that they have added hundreds of new parks which means that traveling has been made easy for every RVers around the US and Canada.
We love to take our RV out of our permanent place and go on an expedition with our kids. When we travel we always make sure that we try out new things as well. For example, on a trip to Niagara Falls a couple of years ago, we had found a campground within Niagara Falls and stayed an extended period of time in order to discover the area. Not only were we able to pick cherries but we also discovered the Welland Canal and went to make kazoos on the other side of the border.

Our discoveries of that region was fabulous but the stay not so much. Right in front of the camping grounds was a establishment which men would go to see dancers and drink. The place was packed every day of the week at night. It wasn’t ideal for the noise we thought and we didn’t like having this kind of “business” close by right under the nose of the kids. We have agreed that if we ever come back in the area one day that we would look for a campground that is not in the city itself and reasonably priced.
The first thing I checked on the list of new parks was to see if there was any in Ontario – our province. I was pleased to discover that there are three new parks for Ontario – Bissell’s Hideaway Resort in Fonthill, Chippawa Resort and Easy Living Camping & RV Resort in Barry’s Bay, and Knights Hide-Away Park in Niagara Falls! Two of them are fairly close to Niagara Falls. It is good to know that these campgrounds are not within the city of Niagara Falls and offers a quieter environment. Besides, we would love to go pick up peaches and nectarines again in order to can some for the winter time.
The second thing I did was to check the campground for Florida – a destination where we would like to bring our kids. Good Sams has added more than 107 parks to the list for Florida. We know that we would like to stay close to Orlando and have our eyes set for Kissimmee. In this list, I have found two new parks in Kissimmee Sherwood Forest RV Resort and Tropical Palms Resort & Campground.
Knowing that Good Sam adds new parks for rvers everywhere gives you a peace of mind that you will find the campground that is perfect for your family. We have always tried to find the place that is most affordable for us – a family of six – and that offers what we need for our stay (internet being something necessary because of our home business). Having more parks and campgrounds offered on Good Sam gives families like ours a wider range of possibilities when looking for a place to park the RV where you are vacationing.
This year, I am confident that we will find the perfect place to stay when we plan our vacation. We still don’t know where we will be going but I know that Good Sam will have numerous places to suggest when we are ready to plan our vacation.
How about you? Do you know where you will be heading this summer with your family? How do you find the campgrounds or RV parks you stay? Do you use Good Sam suggestions, word of mouth or something else?
