IT’S FINALLY HERE! (The 2013 Good Sam RV Travel Guide & Camp Ground Directory)

The brown box dropped on my doorstep was a surprise. I thought, “What in the world is this, I’m not expecting a package?”
I cut open the box. Inside was my new copy of the 2013 Good Sam RV Travel Guide and Campground Directory.
I have been extremely anxious to see what this new book looked like. You see, it is not just a new publication; it is a brand new product.
For years, I have purchased both the Trailer Life Campground Directory and the Woodall’s Campground Directory. While they were similar, they were not identical. I would find that one guide would have listings or information that the other lacked.
Of course, I was somewhat partial to the Woodall’s Directory – after all, for the past three years my blogs have been published under the Woodall’s marquee.
So, how is it that both the former Trailer Life and Woodall’s directories came to be combined?
Well, both Trailer Life and Woodall’s are owned by the same parent company – and have been for many years. Recent reorganization of the company resulted in a name change from Affinity to Good Sam Enterprises. The new company includes not only Woodall’s and Trailer Life, but also The Good Sam Club, Camping World, Passport America, and Camp Coast-to-Coast. Combining the two former guides into one not only made good economic sense to the company, but saves folks like me that bought two guides the price of a second publication.
The new Good Sam RV Travel Guide and Campground Directory is simply awesome. It includes the best features from both of the former publications plus oodles of new user friendly features. It is an essential go-to RV user handbook and campground directory combined. Both private and public campgrounds are rated by campers just like you and me. Information on location, site size, hook-ups, pet policies, directions, recreational opportunities, operational dates, GPS coordinates, phone numbers, projected rates and much more are commonly listed.
You will also find full color maps, tourist information on individual States and Provinces, recommended one tank trips, Good Sam Discount Parks, and a score of discount coupons for equipment and services.
But Wait – There is More!
Inside are many 10-Minute Tech Tips, Safety Essentials, advice on maintenance, a look at 2013 RV offerings, over 455,000 updates for 15,000 campgrounds and RV Services along with timely RV articles written by real-world campers.
When you get your new guide be sure to turn to pages 120-121 of the first section and read my submission on Being Cool Behind the Wheel and how to Be a Good Campground Neighbor – just one of the many reasons to order your own copy of the new directory.
The retail price of $25.95 is discounted to $9.95 for Good Sam Club Members (+S&H).
It will make a great Christmas gift for the camper on your list – it is one of those “Don’t leave home without it” items. It is not too late to pick one up!
HAPPY CAMPING TRAILS TO ALL!
