Your Right To Vote

Do you vote by mail? Do you vote early? Do you wait until the last minute to vote? None of those questions matter as long as you vote!
When we made the decision to RV fulltime we chose to get our mail and have our permanent residence be our daughter’s address. When we are in town, we camp close to where they live so it’s not a problem going out to vote in that district.

Have you chosen a legal domicile that isn’t convenient to go vote in while on the road? No problem. You can use an absentee ballot. Most states have them on their state websites. You can download them and send them to the designated address without ever having to interrupt your dream vacation. Check the state you have chosen for your legal residence for instructions.
We chose to vote early so that if something unforeseen came up we wouldn’t have to worry about not be able to vote. When we got to the voting precinct we were surprised to see so many people with the same idea. It made us feel good.

We have always felt that it was an honor to be able to choose who we wanted to vote for and we’ve always respected every American’s right to vote for the candidate of their choice. We’ve made it a point to get out and vote in every election.
This year was no different but we paid more attention and listened to both sides, which sometimes was painful to do. We researched different points and/or allegations made by both sides. We felt we needed the most information at our disposal to decide where our votes would go that would be meaningful to our future.

No matter your party, no matter your stance, go vote. It is a part of the American democracy and your right as a citizen.
