Beartooth All-American Road

The Beartooth Scenic Road has 10,000 mountain lakes, 20 peaks reaching more than 12,000 feet in elevation, and 12 national forest campgrounds. Witness the rare transition of lush forest ecosystem to alpine tundra in just a few miles on the highest elevation road in the Northern Rockies.

Worth Pondering…

As long as I live, I’ll hear waterfalls and birds and winds sing. I’ll interpret the rocks, learn the language of flood, storm, and the avalanche. I’ll acquaint myself with the glaciers and wild gardens, and get as near the heart of the world as I can.

    Howdy Rex,

I’m sure these are scenic vistas and can be enjoyed from a speeding RV, but my friend, Bob Skelding, has the BETTER VIEW, from the front seat on his R (ural) V ehicle!! Check out his website:
WAGONTEAMSTER.COM….. He is in the Oregon/NCA area RIGHT NOW!!! We know how people ‘cuss’ us, moseying along at 45-60mph, especially in the mountains, but he ‘speeds’ rapidly along @ 3-7Miles Per Hour, going downhill…. HE SEES THE COUNTRY AND MEETS THE FOLKS, that live there… He started out in New Hampshire, went down into MS, got hit by an illegal TEXTING WHILE DRIVING AT 70MPH !!! REMEMBER TO WATCH OUT FOR THEM ILLEGALS, THEY DRIVE & TEXT BACK TO MEXICO!!!
Now, if you want to ‘SEE’ the country, RIDE WITH BOB, or just take your time, stop & visit as you pass through the backroads.. Get off of the I-ways and look around you; there are real folks who’ll visit with you and they’re NOT after your $$$$s…..

Dag Nab It !! These here A-Rithmetic Safety Features are hard to work out !!!

I want to do them all. They all sound wonderful. I guess some are also better at certain times of the year. I wonder how long it would take to do them all! Oh I wish
