Nestled in the mountains of Nevada, Winnemucca has an old town feel coupled with amazing history. Gold mining is the heart of Winnemucca. The area is referred to as the “Gold Strip”. Many different types of mining are used to extract the precious metal from the earth. Underground, strip and leach mining are just a few of the processes. ^[2]

Winnemucca has many events as well as being at the cultural crossroads to the west. Interstate 80 and Highway 95 meet in Winnemucca. Town events such as Run-a-Mucca, a motorcycle rally, Fifties Fever Car Show, Basque Festival and wine walks are commonplace in this thriving little community. Many grocery stores, shops, casinos, hotels, motels and rv parks located in Winnemucca.

Hi Desert Rv is conveniently located at the 180 off ramp from interstate 80 in Winnemucca NV. East bound and West bound traffic have easy access as there are both exit and entrance ramps to the interstate .7 miles west to Hi Desert RV.

From our entrance with our American Flag flying high, old town façade and water wheel, putting green, koi pond and shuffleboard courts to our recreation hall, heated pool, and out west hospitality, Hi desert RV has many amenities that set us apart from other RV Parks.

Our beautifully landscaped sites offer the modern rv’er with all the comforts they have come to expect. Clearly delineated sites bordered by lodge poles, clean gravel, picnic table, 30 and 50 amp service, water, sewer, pull through sites (some 70ft.) and the most modern WI-FI service available. Tent camping too!

In our main building, we stock and maintain the most complete RV supply store around. Fresh water, Sewer, Electrical, Hardware supplies are all in stock. We even stock several hard to find items such as inverters, converters, water heater supplies, toilets and much more. You must check out our Laundromat – cleaned daily! ^[3]

Our convenience store is stocked full of staples you may need on your journey. Ice cream, groceries, beer liquor, tobacco frozen food and goodies! Hot food too! Hamburgers, Hot dogs, Pizza, Nachos are just a few of the variety items available on our menu.

Free coffee is always available for you. Read the morning paper while enjoying a hot cup of joe relaxing in our TV lounge watching one of our two big screen TV’s.

A prep kitchen is available for groups, parties and get togethers. Family re-unions welcome! We will help you with your planning every step of the way so you can enjoy your event. Group discounts available on all amenities. We make it easy!!
