^[1]Wood’s Tall Timber Lake Resort’s 157-acre resort campground is the perfect place to enjoy the beauty and comforts that Tuscarawas County has to offer. The 7-acre lake serves as the focal point of our Resort, and we welcome you to come stay with us and relax! Our camping season is May 1 to October 31 every year, and our beach is open 10am-7pm Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day weekend, weather permitting. We pride ourselves on being a family-friendly, welcoming, safe, and thoroughly clean environment for everyone.  Camping is available daily, weekly, monthly, or seasonally, and our mini cottages and 2-bedroom cottages are available for rent as well. There are various types of camping available to visitors of all kinds. We offer primitive tent sites, 30 Amp and 50 Amp electric campsites, mini cottages with bunks, and 2-bedroom cottages with all the amenities of home – a kitchen with appliances, a living room, a full bathroom, and enough sleeping room for up to 8 guests. All of our campsite and cottage rentals include a fire ring and picnic table, swimming and fishing, and access to all events and activities during your stay.  Our Resort is completed with a Clubhouse, Woody’s Grille Concession Stand, Bait Shop, Bathhouse, Coin Laundromat, and Lakehouse Lodge Banquet Facility.

For kids and adults of all ages, the recreation never ends! In terms of Lake activities, we have tube slides, water slides, kids’ and adults’ inflatable trampolines, 2 diving boards, paddle boats, electric boats, and canoe rentals.  Our events and activities calendar is full every season with bands, magic shows, kids’ camps, contests, prizes, carnivals, and more – it’s a must-do at our Resort!  We also offer fishing, a game room, a large playground, Woodpecker Par 3 Golf Course & Target Range, Woodpecker ^[2]Putt-Putt course, and hiking trails.  Our newly refurbished Woodpecker Par 3 Golf Course offers 9 holes of recreation for any golfer of any age. With a professional greens-keeper on staff, our rolling hills of Par 3 golfing is perfect for a seasoned golfer or even a beginner. The target range is also available for practicing your golfing skills and golf swing. Check out our immaculate Woodpecker Putt Putt course with 18 holes of fun for the whole family!

Planning a party or event? We can meet your needs for any occasion! Our Lakehouse Lodge has a rustic atmosphere that is perfect for class reunions, receptions, birthday parties, business events, graduation parties, weddings, and much more! Our facility has a state-of-the-art sound system for both indoors and outdoors, a large flat-screen television with DVD player, dance floor, and space for a DJ. We also offer 4 pavilions with grills for outdoor events.  Our pavilions offer the perfect outdoor setting for a wide variety of occasions, and they each have a great view of the lake. The pavilions are rented per day, so come on out and have a great time all day long. ^[3]
