[1]Niagara Falls is renowned for its beauty and as a source of power to a large part of North America.
Known as the most powerful waterfall in North America with a vertical drop of more than 165 feet the Canadian Horseshoe Falls is a sight to behold. It forms the unique International border between the US and Canada. It flows over 1.5 million gallons of water over the brink every second. 90 percent of the water travels over the Canadian Falls. The water of the river glows a greenish blue coming from 60 tones of dissolved salts and finely ground rock from the riverbed.
Today the Falls is a well known tourist destination to travelers across the world. Cross border tourism from the USA to Canada has grown ever more popular over the last decade as seen with the their second Casino addition and the large hotels in the vicinity.
The city of Niagara Falls is home to three major campgrounds within driving distance to the Falls.
Campark Resorts is the highest rated campground in the area within 3 miles from the Horseshoe Falls. It is a family owned and operated business since its inception in 1982. Providing that Canadian outdoor experience right on the edge of the city and country.

Then lay back on its famous Hayride around the park.
The park brings the Niagara River to this beautiful location with rocks from the base of the Falls lined around it’s lush landscaping and historic grounds dating back to the 1700s. The original house stands strong at its entrance, which was built in 1796 by a family from Pennsylvania.
