USA RV Park, Gallup New Mexico
April 13, 2012 by Guest Blogger · 9 Comments
This top rated Woodall’s Park is so beautiful and clean. USA RV Park honors America’s veterans and also the rich traditions of Route 66. This is a “Must Stay” park in Gallup, New Mexico.

A very nice park. We stayed there several years ago. Not real pet friendly, though. They don’t like dogs peeing on their gravel and it’s a long way to the pet walk. Dogs don’t know. When they have to go they have to go.
We’ve stayed here several times and have loved the chuck wagon restaurant for breakfasts and suppers. The guy who USED to own it was a top notch American Vet who served in Turkey as I also did. We hit it off well.
I have never been there but it sounds nice. I am also a vet. I have served many locations as a Marine.
Howdy,
Doesn’t look like these folks checked the reviews or there are two of these parks.. $40 is a whole lot to pay for a BIG GRAVEL parking lot, with NO amenities.. Planes, trains ON AN INTERSTATE!!! Not us!!!
We stayed on night while on the road. Ad said you could not hear the road noise. They were right. With an airport next to it and several railroad tracks with freight trains across the street there was no way to hear the highway. We will go back to Gallup to eat at Ernie’s.
What a poorly done blog. It is just and advertisement for the park and a badly done one at that. The primary thing I am picking an RV Park for is the site. Not the store, not the flag they wave, not the entrance. Not one comment about price! Not one personal experience that said they like it there. What limited pictures/video there was on the sites did not make them look attractive. There was no way to tell how much space there was.
This would not make me want to stay there.
Sorry you did not like this post. Our guest bloggers are encouraged to send in blog posts of many different kinds–video, pictures, and reviews. Sometimes people really connect with the post, and others don’t. It really depends on what you are looking for.
We stopped there this year in March and it is all you say , NICE.
We stayed for the second year at USA RV Park in Gallup, New Mexico. This year we asked the man behind the counter, who seemed in charge, a question about the entrance to the Painted Desert that is open for sunset viewing. He was uninterested and couldn’t be bothered. The park is attractive, but the airport and railways are bothersome at night.
