Thanks for joining me for Part II of my blog on Lake In Wood Camping Resort. The resort features a magnificent entertainment hall with a beautifully restored pipe organ for hosting grand parties and resort gatherings. Other pavilions are available for smaller groups (the Gnome Bridge Club are regulars). You can enjoy the picturesque views and intimate setting of the lake-view covered terrace that we call “THE FIREPLACE”.

Come to the “Gnome Café”, a charming eatery where we gnomes come out of hiding to entertain the resort guests. Camping activities abound at Lake-In-Wood Camping Resort. Your kids will have adventures at two fun-filled playgrounds. The whole family will enjoy a dip in the solar-heated Swimming Pool Complex, which features two full-size pools (one covered and one outdoor), two kiddie pools and a relaxing spa.

Keeping my cap clean is a snap at the two modern laundry facilities. I appreciate the clean-as-a-whistle restrooms and hot showers (like I said, I used to live under mushrooms, so you can just imagine…). Your camping vacation at Lake-In-Wood Camping Resort will be filled with the kind of family activities you will enjoy and remember a lifetime. The resort-quality facilities offer a wide array of sports, recreation and leisure opportunities. Anglers will enjoy excellent fishing. Putt through the beautiful mini-golf and challenging chucker golf courses. Get active with games of softball, basketball or volleyball – or just take it easy with a little shuffleboard or quoits.

At Lake-In-Wood you can leave your gear at home because they have plenty of recreational equipment. Athletic gear is available for checkout at the Trading Post. Get out on the pristine resort waters with a rental rowboat or pedal-boat. If your entertainment pastimes require wheels, there are rental bicycles, golf carts, and unique Fun Cycles & Joy Riders available.

Get back to nature with a hike on the Total Fitness World Trail. Kids can explore their imaginary adventures at two fun playgrounds. Activities include a recreation room, with pool table & arcade games, ceramic classes, movie nights and bingo every Friday night. Bring the family together for free hay rides, & trolley rides or any of our scheduled events!
