Sun Shines at Quinte’s Isle Campark
March 21, 2012 by Guest Blogger · 2 Comments
The sun always shines at Quinte’s Isle Campark and this is not because they just have great weather. Quinte’s Isle Campark is located within 2km of the beautiful Sandbanks Provincial Park and beach. It is also one of the best places to go with or without family. You have the proximity of the sand beaches but the accommodations of home. The services at the park make even the first time camper feel comfortable. With 30 and 50amp hydro electricity, water, sewer, wifi, laundry, modern washrooms, propane, store and snack bar—you are set! You can cook over a fire, your camp stove or eat pizza or burgers at the snack bar—inside or outside under the pergola.
During the day you can walk for miles, bikeride, horseback ride, play tennis, play baseball, play shuffle board, play horseshoes or lay by lake or poolside and read a book. You can walk, bike or drive to either the beach or the Sandbanks. The Rec Hall offers lots of games, crafts and planned activities, including hayrides to the lake. If that is not enough to do, you are close to many wineries, museums and quaint little towns to shop and explore. The area also boasts great fishing and water sports of all kinds. Even a drive in movie theater is close by.
Evenings can be used for stargazing, campfires, or a night dancing to a live band or listening to a DJ spinning some fun tunes. Then come back to your campsite for a peaceful fire and some s’mores. Have a comfortable stay where you come as a guest and leave as a friend. How could the sun not always shine here at Quinte’s Isle Campark?!
