Hi Desert RV, A Great Place to Getaway From It All

Hi Desert RV is conveniently located at the 180 off ramp from interstate 80 in Winnemucca NV. East bound and West bound traffic have easy access as there are both exit and entrance ramps to the interstate .7 miles west to Hi Desert RV.

From the entrance with the American Flag flying high, old town façade and water wheel, putting green, koi pond and shuffleboard courts to our recreation hall, heated pool, and out west hospitality, Hi Desert RV has many amenities that set them apart.

The beautifully landscaped sites offer the modern RV’er with all the comforts they have come to expect. Clearly delineated sites bordered by lodge poles, clean gravel, picnic table, 30 and 50 amp service, water, sewer, pull through sites (some 70ft.) and the most modern WI-FI service available. Tent camping too!

In the main building, they stock and maintain the most complete RV supply store around. Fresh water, Sewer, Electrical, Hardware supplies are all in stock. They even stock several hard to find items such as inverters, converters, water heater supplies, toilets and much more. You must check out the Laundromat – cleaned daily!

The convenience store is stocked full of staples you may need on your journey. Ice cream, groceries, beer liquor, tobacco frozen food and goodies! Hot food too! Hamburgers, Hot dogs, Pizza, Nachos are just a few of the variety items available on the menu.

Hi Desert RV pride themselves  in offering you the most amenities around. Water Wars is a balloon catapult game that is sure to keep the kids cool and well occupied. Fun for all ages, Water Wars is good clean fun. Depth Charge adds a new level of excitement to the game. Just hit the bulls eye and soak your opponent (See the website for video of Water Wars). They have a playground, 9 hole mini golf course, 2 dog runs (one even has a doggie wash!), 16 showers on site located in 2 different bathhouses, a pool table, chess board, TV lounge, library exchange, and coming soon in 2012- SLOT MACHINES!

Free coffee is always available for you. Read the morning paper while enjoying a hot cup of joe relaxing in the TV lounge watching one of their two big screen TV’s.

    I would love to see more reviews of camgrounds and storys about the north east part of the country . There are a lot of people that camp in the north east ( NY PA NJ ) area and our season is short so reviews would be very helpful in picking our locations for the season, If you need someone to help with the writeing of these reviews i would be glad to help
