Oasis Campground is located directly off I-90 and across the Mighty Missouri River from Chamberlain, SD. Lewis and Clark’s expedition traveled along this trail in 1804 as they explored the new frontier.

This mid-way stop between the Black Hills, the SD Badlands and Sioux Falls has RV pull thrus, full hookups and a beautiful tenting area. There’s a swimming pool to soothe the tired travel bones, a pool table in the newly built Rec Room, and the restrooms are comfortably large and clean.

Across the street from the campground is a Frontier Town. Behind the old-style storefronts you’ll find: Also Oasis Restaurant, a General Store for clothing & souvenirs, a full grocery store and an Old West-style bank. The restaurants Western atmosphere makes you feel right at home as they serve a variety of reasonably priced home cooked meals, including buffalo burgers, homemade pies and even 5-cent coffee!

Also Oasis and Campground is a family-owned South Dakota tradition since the early 1950s. Its an enjoyable break from the road. Oh, before going on to new explorations, don’t forget to fill your rig with gas at the Oasis PumpN Pak.
